“Daric Forrest’s confident enough in his abilities to create a record on his terms – mature, soulful and true to his core sound.”

Daric Forrest, who comes from a family with 14 siblings, began noticing his love of music at the tender age of 3, and started singing along to songs that came on the radio. Living in Michigan during this time of his childhood, he began gracing the stage at school talent shows, and quickly started finding his niche with his stage presence, vocal delivery, and development as an artist.
As the years progressed, Daric began finding his flair with songwriting. This quickly lit a fire under him and he began to book talent shows and contests around South Bend, IN. Which helped get his name out among the music scenes he was gracing. He started winning the contests very frequently, which lifted his confidence to expand his horizons and get his music out to anyone willing to listen, no matter where he ended up.
After living in some of the bigger US cities, he eventually ended up in Atlanta where he caught his first break when he ran into Cameo's lead singer, Larry Blackman; who offered to take Daric on the road with him and his band. And this is when Daric began breathing new life into his career in music. Daric made appearances at the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame in Cincinnati in 2000, the Stone Family Picnic in 2001 in Washington DC, the Arts and Crafts Festival in Boston, among many more.
